In the early morning, when it's not so hot, we take a little walk through the Historic Pensacola Village, If we are somewhat interested in history, we buy an entrance ticket and look around in the houses, as one lived then. Otherwise, the walk through the village is enough to get an impression of the time and shoot nice pictures of the old America.
Stop the breath on our drive over Santa Rosa Island and through the Gulf Islands National Seashore at Panhandle. This coastal landscape is unbeatable. Fine white quartz sand wherever you look is surrounded by the blue sky and the crystal-clear emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Hardly a human soul disturbs one with this natural spectacle.
