If you want to experience all the crazy Key West at once, head to Mallory Square, a square in downtown Key West, in the evening. Here the tourists meet hippies, shrill and funky characters, musicians and a lot of artists from the fire eater to the wire rope balancing animal. They all marvel and celebrate the greatest sunsets as a large community - evening after evening for evening.
The course is located near the coast in the historic district of Old Town at the northern end of Duval Street. Depending on the season, the sun sets on the horizon of the Gulf of Mexico or Sunset Key or Wisteria Island. Although the Sunset Ceremony is the tourist highlight in Key West, it is worth a visit. Romantics should, however, move to any other place.
